Lake Vermilion MUST. This place is closed on Mondays, pizza only Tuesday, menu items Wednesday thru Sunday. We went the Wednesday before 4th of July 2025. The place was PACKED. The servers are amazing and very accommodating to handle droves and droves of hungry patrons. You simply must go!!

Don't try to come here by boat, they have the tiniest dock in the world that fits maybe 4 boats. So this is one to drive to. My burger was a tiny over cooked dry hockey puck. Drinks were not great all seemed like cheap drink mixes. The walleye and sides and appetizers were fantastic so they definitely have that going. Our waitress was kind and attentive and fixed my burger issue, although i had to get my replacement meal boxed as my entire table had finished their dinner before mine came. If you go here try the pizza since it seemed people liked that and definitely order the fried walleye whether its the sandwich or the entree.

First time here and I was not disappointed! I had the smoked turkey penni and it was so good, great mix of flavors and that sauce elevated the sandwich! The place was hoppin' and the servers were all smiles and polite! If I'm ever up in this area again, I will definitely be stopping back! Great job everyone!

A classic place for groups, great food, great drinks! We love the pizza, the Alfredo pasta, and the prime rib! The staff is so kind and attentive as well. We go every weekend we are up north!

Food was amazing, the price is completely reasonable for the quality of the food. The waitress was amazing and caring for us as customers. They have a great safe and peaceful environment. Overall, I recommend this place to others!

Our second visit to The VC was an absolute delight! Despite being a group of eight, we had no trouble getting a table at 3:00 on a Saturday. Our friendly waitress went above and beyond, ensuring that our food and drinks arrived promptly. We opted for the spinach artichoke appetizer, a massive pizza, and side dinner salads. Each dish was exceptional, with the pizza, dip, and house-made Parmesan salad dressing particularly noteworthy. We highly recommend this restaurant and bar to anyone seeking great food in a casual atmosphere! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Our server, Gail, made our experience that much better! She was fast, friendly and fun!! The place was packed to the brim, and yet we never went without or felt forgotten. Food was just as good! Ruben was delish, wings were plumb and well flavored, and the chicken bacon ranch wrap didn't disappoint either! We are up there all the time, and the VC is always our first choice

The menu offered a good variety of burgers, wraps, sandwiches, salads, and pizza. The outdoor dining was excellent. There is plenty of parking in the lot, even if you are towing a boat or reasonable size RV trailer. And dock parking for boats and pontoons, with about a quarter mile walk to the restaurant. The food was great. My regular burger and sweet potato fries for $13.95 was reasonable, as were most of the menu items. If you are in the area and need a meal, this place is a worthy stop!
